About KFP

All the projects of KIEV FASHION PARK are based on open competition of art ideas and the projects developed by artists. KFP Independent Expert Council helps to provide high quality of the selected art projects and appropriate public territory for their installation. In KFP Expert Council the leading professional art experts are involved: architects, art historians, eminent sculptors and painters, art critics and other specialists who are able to assess art and social significance of a project. Every art object purchased by a person or company is gifted to the city and its citizens.

The first project implemented by KFP was the park of modern sculpture and instillation “Kiev Fashion Park” on Peysazhna Alleia (Landscape Alley) in Kiev

that has been opened on May 27, 2011. The park includes 17 art objects created by modern Ukrainian artists: sculptures, installations and the unique garden benches. Due to the Charity Auction the patrons had an opportunity to present art objects to the city. To some extend it has flushed the noble traditions of philanthropy in Kiev. Nowadays all the citizens and visitors can enjoy the sculptures and art benches, walking down the Landscape Alley.

Also within the project a freestanding sculpture has been placed in Taras Shevchenko’s park in Kiev. It was the ironic «Babtsya Klasychna» made by Ukrainian contemporary artist Anna Kiseleva. The art object was granted by «Zmenka» trade mark.
